The service

Witnessed is a screen time blocker for iOS. It uses Apple's Screen Time and FamilyControls APIs to restrict app access. Unblocking requires SMS approval from a witness you designate.

Subscription

$4.90/year, auto-renewable, with a 7-day free trial
Payment is handled by Apple through the App Store
Cancel anytime in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

Witness SMS

Your witness receives SMS when you request an unblock. You are responsible for obtaining their consent before providing their phone number.

No guarantees

Witnessed relies on Apple's Screen Time APIs. We do not guarantee the blocking is infallible. The app is provided "as is".

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France.
